UAB „AXIS TRANSPORT“, aiming to become a leader in international transportation and moving services in Lithuania, focuses on sustainable and responsible growth.
Considering the impact of the transport sector on the environment and issues important to our stakeholders, we aim to:
- Take action to reduce the impact of our operations on climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the transport services we operate.
- To create a sustainable network of suppliers through long-term cooperation.
- To ensure a healthy and safe working environment for our company’s employees, suppliers (carriers) and customers.
- Raise employees’ competence in sustainability issues and involve them, suppliers (carriers) and customers in sustainability initiatives.
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM STANDARDS
The company has implemented quality and environmental management systems (ISO 9001; ISO 14001), thanks to which we track all non-conformities and improve our main efficiency and environmental performance indicators.
Fuel from 100% sustainably sourced renewable raw materials
In order to reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions of the company, AXIS transport, in cooperation with Neste, offers its customers to change diesel of cast origin to Neste MY Renewable Diesel. The pollution of cargo transported in this way can be reduced from 75% to 95%*. Such diesel is produced from 100% sustainably sourced renewable raw materials and is fully compatible with all diesel engines, so it can be used both in place of fossil diesel and mixed in any ratio.

* The percentage of GHG reduction varies depending on the legislation of the specific region that provides the calculation methodology (for example, Directive (EU) 2018/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council (RED II) in Europe and the California Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) in the United States), and to the mix of raw materials used to produce the product in each market.
